Butch &

Angela Buccinni Butch

Growing up in Buffalo, Angela’s ambition was to become a dancer. After graduation from Boston Conservatory with a BFA in choreography and dance she moved to NYC, where she began a professional career in dance, performing both nationally and internationally. During this period, she trained in circus and aerial arts and in the process found her artistic vision in the spaces where dance, aerial art, circus and theater meet and where a community exists of unparalleled trust and communication. This unbridled sense of human connection and artistic performance led to her founding The Muse, an immersive experiential performance space in Bushwick in 2011. The concept was to craft works that were not only multi-sensory and magical, but socially conscious and life changing. The goal was to build a performance that was not simply about watching the story unfold but to be part of it. These moments of connection create a pivotal experience that defies categorization, one in which the space between audience and performer is broken and reality and fantasy blend into an existential moment that changes everyone present long after they leave the venue.

Yoni Kallai

Yoni Kallai started doing acrobalance in a beginners workshop in Israel, while studying at The Hebrew University. This started out as a hobby that quickly became a primary occupation. He found himself teaching people tricks and showing them that they can do more than they think all the time, not just in class. "I enjoy how this fun activity is a gateway into human contact and relationships. Come join me on so many different levels."

Yoni teaches Family Acro, Acrobalance and Games, Kids Cirque and Acro Standing Circus at The Muse.
